O...SCAR Movies 噢~斯卡電影
距離Oscar頒獎禮還有大約2個星期, 至現在為止我已看過的Oscar nominated movies 不足1/5 (只有6套..heh), 還真的要加把勁...雖然今年有突然決定的遠遊令我不會有機會看Oscar 的直播(當天我已經在中東某國了~~~yeah:D), 但我仍然會努力嘗試做一個公平的影癡. :d
一直聽到很多人說某某電影實在不值得被提名, 某某演員太'屎戲'...對於那些評論, 現在的我只可以慚愧地說'我不清楚', 我希望在這最後的兩星期內我可以盡我所能地完成大部份的電影...還有最好就是我希望我可以在這裡寫寫對每一套戲的感想..如果可以的話(對, 我沒有guarentee的啊~)

Old Moive Reviews 舊影評重溫
If anyone knows me they know that I own/owned a few blogs previously, I don't know if it's my bad habit or it's just my 'moving schedule' applies not only in real life but also in my virtual life, up to now I've moved/delete/abandoned quite a few blogs, most of the time I moved because of no reason, so, don't ask me why, heh.
If there's one thing that reminds me of those abandoned blogs, it would be my movie reviews entries. Seriously, I wrote it with heart (although people who read it might not feel it), at least...I wasn't bullshitting while I was writing about movies..I guess(hehe).
Today I decided to paste all my old entries about movie reviews here, this hopefully to be my last and long-lasting blog. To be honest, I actually do it for myself, as I'm getting older and my memory is getting so bad that I basically forget everything so easily that I don't even realize...you know what? Today I have to search for my OWN blogs on Google (no kidding..:<).
Although I may not feel the same way about those movies, it's still interesting to read my own words from the past (except knowing how stupid/idiotic I was...). Anyways, here it is, one of my old movie critics~

補充: 數年後的今天, Christian Bale已經變成一位頗為燥狂的巨星(詳情可查查 keywords 'christian bale' 'maniac' 'rant' :P), 他最為人熟悉的角色當然離不開Batman, 但於我來說, 除了Batman, 他在Rescue Dawn裡飾演的Dieter Dengler也令我印象深刻. 至於 I'm not There, I thought he's not there in the movie XD. 而我相信很多人記得的The Prestige, 雖然我很喜歡Christopher Nolan, 但我不喜歡那個結局, 還有Scarlett Johansson...Christian Bale在裡面的演出我反而沒有太大印象.
在這數年間, 我重看過他的Little Women(1994), 面部輪廓還不太深的他, 青澀的演技, 實在很配合他當年的角色.
噢, 還有, 我重看了一次American Psycho, 果然, 我第一次看的時候實在是太年青了, 對於這套戲, 要在另一個post再說, 不日推出. :P

VIFF - 第一章: The Machinist
等候多時的溫哥華國際電影節終於開始(sept 23 - oct 8)..我的'時間表'亦已塞得滿滿..今天正午剛好看完我的第一場電影: The Machinist. 電影簡介將這套電影列為Spanish movie; 不過看清楚, 導演和主要演員是美國人和英國人..只有一些配角和executive producer才是西班牙人..呵, 錢果然比其他東西都來得重要呢.. 不是要偏幫美國人(我不是美國人, 其實我一向對美國人存有偏見..至於英國人, 我一向偏幫的), 不過在這齣戲中, 最重的人物, 無可否認是導演Brad Anderson和男主角Christian Bale.
故事其實很簡單..一個人不能抵受良心的責備而失眠, 只不過, 不是失眠一兩天, 而是一年..導演一直沒有說明主角失眠的原因, 不過一切都會在電影完結時揭曉. 今天看戲的時候, 一道看的觀眾都發出晃然大悟的歎聲..有些還禁不住拍手..其實, 若果沒有把劇本特別編排, 這個劇本相信會悶得可以..可見這位Brad Anderson真的很利害..我很喜歡他用了很多'暗喻'..主角不斷用漂白劑洗手, 來表達他要洗去他的罪疚(手上的血, 雖然我們看不到真正的血在他手上); 另外, 很喜歡導演把幻覺和真實mix在一起, 但又不會令人不明白; 出乎意料的, 是這麼一齣陰沉的電影, 竟然有不少笑位, 我可不記得我看Memento時有笑過(這兩齣戲給人的感覺相似)..
另一位重要人物, 當然是為了這齣戲不健康地減肥65磅的Christian Bale. 作為一個專業演員, '為部戲'減磅很正常, 亦有很多演員為戲増/減肥(首推當然是演Bridget Jones 的 Renee Zellweger); 但Christian Bale的減肥成果真的很恐怖, 他沒有穿上衣的每一幕, 都可以用驚嚇來形容..我甚至忘記了他正常時候的模樣(在電影的最後會出現).. 以前看過American Psycho, 很多人都說他演得很好, 但我不認同..可能我連電影的script都不喜歡吧!(又或是當時我太年青, 不明白電影內容..) 但這次, 有點希望他可以憑這齣戲站在頒獎台上, 當然我還不知道自己在不久的將來又會否轉移目標, (我希望是有的..因為這樣代表了有更好的戲上演嘛!) 但最起碼, 憑藉這齣戲, 我相信Christian Bale的演技會被認同, 尢其對那班看完American Psycho後覺得'唔掂'的觀眾們..是的, 我就是被'感動'的其中一人..
